He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Hill and Ursula Hill (Jeck); his parents-in-law, Paul and Anna Blanchette; his brother Michael Hill; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Blanchette Marquis and Phyllis Blanchette.
He is survived by : his wife Linda Blanchette of Bourbonnais; his son Matthew P. Hill; his daughter-in-law Julie Hill of Bradley; his daughter Jessica L. Lopez (Hill); his son-in-law Thomas Lopez (Tommy) of Valparaiso, IN; and his grandchildren, Jackson Hill, Harrison Hill, Bronson Hill, Magdalena Lopez (Maggie) and Thomas Drummond Lopez (Drum).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (211 N Center Ave, Bradley, IL 60915). A burial will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Illinois Veterans home in Roger's honor.
