With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David C. Combs of Nashville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David C. Combs to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Carlo Combs and Thelma Combs (Porter); his brother William Ray Porter; and his sister-in-law Janice Combs. He is survived by : his wife Cathy Combs of Oakdale, IL; his children, David Henson of Woodlawn, IL and Sharisa Cross (Chris) of Brunswick, OH; his grandchildren, Keaghan Burden and Tierney Henson; his siblings, Ronald "Boo" Combs, Thelma Sue Emery (Eddie) and Donald Combs (Ruthie) of Combs, KY; his sister-in-law Elma Porter of Underwood, IN; and his friend Greg Thomas of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 3rd 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Oakdale Village Hall (75 N Weigh St, Oakdale, IL 62268). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Epilepsy Foundation and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
