She was predeceased by : her parents, Aristides Megalis and Constantina Megalis (Tsiambouris); her mother-in-law Vasiliki Gatsakos (late Christos); and her siblings, Demetra Dikos (Angelo), Nick Megalis (Eleanor) and Chrisanthe Karakostas (late John).
She is survived by : her husband Athanasios Gatsakos; her children, Valerie Papoutsis (Peter), Constantina Panos (Vasilios) and Christina Gatsakos; her grandchildren, Vasiliki, Sotirios, Alexandra, Athanasios, Maria Demetra and Alexandros; and her siblings, Stella Theodos (late Nick), Spyro Megalis (Helen), Tina Angelopoulou (George) and George Megalis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (893 Church Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church N. (893 Church Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
