He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl H. Grometer and Stella Grometer (Hage); his wife Mildred Bonnell Beaty; his children, Carl Anthony, Dale Edward Grometer and Cindy Welch; his grandson Carl Michael Grometer; and his sister Charlotte Herron.
He is survived by : his daughter Debby Black (Douglas) of Hinckley, IL. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; his seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel (141 Maple St, Hinckley, IL 60520). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
