He was predeceased by: his brother Joyfully; and his significant other Gracie. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amanda Llano (Isaac), Nicholas Szalinski (Mary), Shannon Garcia (Daniel), Matthew Szalinski (Jordan Koziol), Benjamin, Sydney and Olivia Szalinski; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Connor Llano, Dean, Charlotte, Cassandra, Samantha Szalinski, Porter and Lainey Garcia; his nieces and nephews, Andrzej and Grazyna Penkul; and his uncle Sam (Joe).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home (435 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer will be held on Friday, August 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (426 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
