Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Swanson; and her brothers, Leo R. (Sarah) and Robert Novak (late Barbara). She is survived by: her children, Susan Walker, Sharon Franklin (Kevin Carr) and Donald R. Swanson, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richard-Midway Funeral Home (5749 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 14th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (3401 W 87th St, Evergreen Park, IL 60805).
