With solemn reverence, we commemorate Walter Good of Armington, Illinois, whose life came to an end on August 6, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Good and Bessie Good (Kaufman); his wife Lorene M. Nafziger; his siblings, Marcella Kossen, Oleta Bachman, Lola Kauffmann, Helen Mumaw and John Good; and his granddaughter Amanda Good.
He is survived by: his sisters, Eileen Nafziger and Marilyn Kauffmann (South Carolina); and his children, Elaine Good (Dale Bachman) of Putnam, Wendell Good (Sharon) of Pekin, Darrell Good (Marti) of Elmhurst, Joanne Good (John Yoder) of Wheaton and Jeannette Zeigler (Brian) of Pendleton, IN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hopedale Mennonite Church (5192 Hopedale Rd, Hopedale, IL 61747). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to CHRPA or to Menno Haven Camp and Retreat Center.
