She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Jean (Frances Koester) and Norma Jean; and her husband Edward McEllin. She is survived by: her children, Steven (Elva), Tom, Cathy (Bernie Carroll), Edward and Gregg (Jose Arjona); her grandchildren, Justin, Daniel (Emily), Andrew, Christian, Mikayla, Jessica, Ethan, Madelynn, Matthew and Max; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann McEllin, Jack McEllin and Mildred Koester.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
