With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cesar A. Cruz of Northlake, Illinois, who passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Justo Cruz and Lorenza Cruz; his sisters, Mercedes Cruz (late Nicolas), Herminia Cruz and Antonia Cruz (Rigoberto Sanabria); and his pet Mia Cruz.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Cruz, Dakmar Sosa (Juan Jose) and Carolyn Bishop (Carl); his grandchildren, Alex Diaz (Lisa), Elaine Diaz, Haylie Diaz, Jose Antonio Sosa, Cesar Andres Sosa and CJ Bishop; his great grandchild Luca Diaz; and his siblings, Blanca Folz (Francis) and Ismael Cruz (Teresa).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
