He was predeceased by: his father William (Elaine); his brother Jerry Machovina (Kim); and his uncle Clarence "Butch" Machovina. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Krista Machovina of Echo Park, Calif and Hilary Sears (Franklin) of Kirkwood; his granddaughter Hannah Sears; his brother William Machovina (Michele) of Tenn; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Simon (Habluetzel), Andrew Simon and Karen Machovina. He is also survived by 6 nieces and 20 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wolfersberger Funeral Home (102 W Washington St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A procession will be held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wolfersberger Funeral Home (102 W Washington St, O'Fallon, IL 62269).
