He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Bridget Salisbury. He is survived by: his children, Sean Salisbury (Mary), Jim Salisbury (Marci), Mary Salisbury-Lizen (Brad), Patrick Salisbury (John Ginter) and Sheila Martin (Marshall); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Salisbury (Robert Taney), Rebecca Gallo (Vince), Maureen Raimondi (Joseph), Aidan Donaldson, Gabe Salisbury, Matthew Lizen (Jenny), Alexandra Lizen, Katheryn Lizen, Emily Martin, Thomas Martin and Grace Martin; and his great grandchildren, Ayla Gallo, Gianni Gallo, Luca Gallo, Henry Raimondi, Charles Raimondi and Callie Mae Lizen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson-Goodale Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the Departing the Funeral Home. The military honors will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Lurie Children's Hospital (http://www.luriechildrens.org) or the Little Sisters of the Poor (http://www.littlesistersofthepoor.org).
