Gerlach; his children, Benjamin Gerlach (Michelle), Steve Gerlach (Nicolette), Mary Ann Gerlach and Karen Gerlach MD (Steven MD); his grandchildren, Rush, Ginger and Jonathan; his brothers, Joseph and Stanley Gerlach; and his parents-in-law, Wladyslaw Smagala (Marianna) and Chester Los (Elizabeth).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home (415 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (254 N Wood Dale Rd, Wood Dale, IL 60191). A burial will be held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
