He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Wheatley and Flossie Stiles Wheatley; his son Dale Wheatley; and his sister Pauline Adams. He is survived by: his sons, Donald Wheatley (Tammy), David Wheatley of Bloomington, IL, Dan Wheatley (Robin) of Lakewood, CO and Dennis Wheatley (Veronica) of Green Valley, AZ. He is also survived by his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Park Hill Cemetery (1105 S Morris Ave, Bloomington, IL 61701).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer's Research or to a charity of the donor's choice.
