He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Kriete and Loveda Kriete; his son Kevin Kriete; and his siblings, James Kriete, Roy Kriete and Louise Durham.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn L. Kriete; his daughters, Kimberly Dantino and Karin Carani (Chris); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Dantino, Sarah Dantino, Alexis Carani, Ede Carani and Audrie Carani.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church (920 Swain Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
