With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph John Williams in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph John Williams to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Marion (Walsh); and his brother-in-law Herbert Minard. He is survived by: his wife Linda Williams (Johnston); his sons, Jon Williams and Nicholas Williams (Laura Schwass); his grandchildren, Logan and Harper Williams; his sisters, Pam Kabelis (Joe), Marylou Minard and Nancy Williams; his sister-in-law Christine Wagner (Joseph); his stepmother Betty Williams; and his stepsister Bonnie Brumn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (1555 Glen Ellyn Rd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
Additional visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Mass 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd., Glendale Hts., IL (All to meet at Church), Interment with Military Funeral Honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd. Elwood, IL (Please meet at the cemetery), In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to –Bloomingdale VFW 7539 (http://www.vfw7539.org.).
