He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Rachel Daniels Berry and Vernon Berry. He is survived by: his son David J. Berry (Jami); his wife Cinda Thompson; his daughter Anne Kirchgessner (Tom); and his grandchildren, Devin, Caera, Johnny, Lucy, Peter and Tommy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Peoria (3000 W Richwoods Blvd, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Springdale Cemetery (3014 N Prospect Rd, Peoria, IL 61603).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, WCBU Peoria Public Radio, or Universalist Unitarian Church of Peoria.
