It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ingeborg Anita Kent of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Scheler and Lena Scheler; and her husband Oscar Kent. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Kling (K. P.) of Washington, IA, Kim Franklin (Bob) of Sidney, IL, Paul Strawser (Donna) of Hoopeston, IL, Dick Strawser of Danville, IL and Scott Strawser (Charlotte) of Hoopeston, IL; and her sister Gisela Lauth of Germany. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Iroquois Memorial Park.
