She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald MacKenzie, Sr. and Kathleen MacKenzie (Fealy); her brother Donald MacKenzie, Jr.; her children, Kerry Burke and Shannon Burke; and her great-grandparents, Theo, Isla Dawson, Brooks and Hayes Martini.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Burke; her children, Kelly Michie (Jim), Tammi Dawson (Stephen), Dawn Irelan (Kurt) and Erin Burke (Jerry Reed); her grandchildren, Brian Michie, Tyler Michie, Daniel Michie, Timothy Dawson (Claire), Christian Dawson (Erin Walta), Kwin Martini (Jeff), Mackenzie Irelan, Nolan Irelan (Michelle), Michael Schumacher (Kathleen) and Shay Baregi (Mario); and her friend Chuck.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home (9568 W Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131). A prayer will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
Donna requested that any donations be given to the Northbrook Speed Skating Club or the Covenant Living Benevolent Fund.
