It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa M. Ortiz of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louie G. Ortiz; her grandsons, Casey Dobczyk and Jason Rodriguez; and her parents, Elmer Orasco and Jesse Orasco (Lara).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Morrell (Ned), Christine Rodriguez, Theresa Rodriguez, Cyndy McRaven (Bruce), Ronald Rodriguez (Sandy), David Rodriguez (Laurie), Rey Rodriguez (Evon), Diana Dobczyk (Gregg) and Ana Lockwood (Scott). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Church (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
