It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Elwardt (Franklin Park, Illinois), who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Astrid Viktoria and Paul Hermon Elwardt; and his daughter Diane Bosman (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Charline House Elwardt; his daughters, Cathy Lutzke (Rick), Patti Van Dorn (Ted), Carole Schwichtenberg (Jim), Charleen Glennon (Randy) and Beth Parker (Aaron); his grandchildren, Diane Blowers (Eric), Jennifer Bonner (David), Rachael Debus (Jake), Mitchell Bosman (Karina), Chad Bosman (Ellen), Meaghan Bosman, Ted Van Dorn (Meghan), Tim Van Dorn (Liz), Jim Schwichtenberg (Maddie), Brittaney Walsh (Dan), Marissa Suero (Benito), Caitlin Ames (Danielle), Kelsey Pasia (Mark), Miranda Glennon, Garrett Glennon, Zach Parker (Alexandra), Taylor Parker, Morgan Parker and Dylan Parker; his brother Richard Elwardt (Celeste); and his pet Troop.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home (9568 W Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Mt. Emblem Cemetery (520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
