She is survived by: her spouse Pat O'Connell (Church) of Danville, IL.; her sons, Patrick II O'Connell (Janet) of Monument, CO, Brendan J. O'Connell of Jacksonville, FL and Dennis M. O'Connell (Kim) of Springfield'; her grandchildren, Devon, Patrick III, Daniel, Brady, Riley, Caleb, Meghan Jirele (Pat) and Rachel O'Connell; her brother George R. Hansbrough of Decatur, IL; and her sister-in-law Maureen O'Connell of Danville. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
