He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Palumbo and Mildred Palumbo (Gallo); his wife Donna Sue Cox of Ferdinand's Church; his son Ronald Palumbo; and his brother Ernest.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy (Ann) of Elmhurst, IL and Richard of Sterling; his daughter-in-law Suzanne of Morrison; and his grandchildren, Michael Palumbo of Downers Grove, IL, Anthony Palumbo of Colorado Springs, CO, Andrew Palumbo of Las Vegas, NV, Daniel Palumbo (Jasmine Anderson) of Prophetstown, IL, Allison Vouk (Kevin) of Cleveland, OH, Emily Palumbo (Scotty Tuin) of Prescott, WI and Elizabeth Palumbo of Morrison, IL. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (505 1st Ave, Sterling, IL 61081). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
