He was predeceased by: his wife Judy. He is survived by: his close friend Karen Clarkson; his children, Joseph Mercier (Laura Arena) and Jennifer Holovnia (Anthony, III); his grandchildren, Madalyn and AJ Holovnia IV; and his siblings, Art Mercier (Diana), Steve Mercier (Angel), Valerie Kreuscher (Randy), Marilyn Rein (late Mickey) and Cindy Lewis (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Mt. Emblem Cemetery (510 W Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
