It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wayne Woodward of Troy, Illinois, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Woodward and Frances Woodward (Budiselich-Milburn); his sister Mia Robertson; his in-laws, Marion "Goose" and Iva Duckworth; his sister-in-law Ann Dugan; his wife Jo; his son Robert Woodward (Lisa); his grandsons, Robert, Thomas and Tyson; his sister Frances Ann Sutherlin; and his siblings-in-law, Vicky Huber (Dale), Brenda Mayfield (Layne) and Bob Dugan. He was also cherished by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Irwin Chapel of Glen Carbon (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
