She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A. Hahn and Marion R. Kotlin; her husband James A. Cerny; and her siblings, Neal Hahn and Jean Conely (Hahn).
She is survived by: her children, Joan Cerny Cimaglia (Carl Cimaglia), James Cerny (Ximena) and Jeffrey Cerny (Zani); her grandchildren, Sebastian, Nicholas, Lucas, Marcus, Alison, Austin and Adam; her sister Marilee Dalen (Hahn); and her daughter Janet of Master's Degrees. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (7750 W Cermak Rd, Forest Park, IL 60130). A prayer will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the YMCA are appreciated.
