She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward; her children, Todd Buikema (Carolee) and Amy Buikema; her grandsons, Peter, Matthew, Joseph and Andrew; her sister LuAnn Stefek (William); and her brothers-in-law, Ron Buikema (Arlene), Marvin Buikema and Roger Buikema (Lois). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church (149 W Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
