It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rory Patrick Dunne of Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rory Patrick Dunne to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sue; his children, Shannon (Megan), Erin Minteer (Ben) and Melaney Dunne; his grandchildren, Carter, Coulson Dunne, John, Gianna and Max Minteer; his siblings, Denise Nicolosi (Jim), Mark (Marcia), Gregory (Kae), John (Julie) and Jean Stachura (Thomas); and his parents, Ann Dunne and Jeremiah Dunne. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Visitation Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
