She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob "Jack" Lanenga, Jr.; her parents, William Bandstra and Irene Bandstra; and her father-in-law Jack Lanenga Sr.. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Joy; her children, Jay Lanenga (Holly), Becky Hoffman (Chris) and Mike Lanenga (Erin); her grandchildren, Addison, Alyse, Bailey Lanenga, Leah, Hannah, Grace, Levi Hoffman, Ryne, Alex and Lennox Lanenga; her sister Cheryl Deckinga (Bob); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Lanenga (Laura), Joe Lanenga (Michael Peters) and Jan Boonstra (Pete). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church (149 W Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
