With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte May of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Centerville, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy and Lily Mae Brackett (Herr); her husband Roy Dale May, Sr.; her children, Robin Lamb, Christine Jacobs and Dale Roy May III of Houston; and her great grandchild Dakota.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Kay Morris (Richard) of Knoxville, Mary Underwood of Bay Town and Michael May (Lucy) of St. Pedro; and her sister Mary. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pacific Lodge 66 (157 N Public Square, Knoxville, IL 61448).
