With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pauline Wilhelmina Akerberg (Woodstock, Illinois), who passed away on August 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wallenstein and Ruth Wallenstein; her sisters, Charlene and Norma; her grandson Charles Akerberg; and her pet Mocha.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Akerberg; her children, Resa Luckey (Dale), Kim Pahl (Steve) and Ed Akerberg; her grandchildren, April Menzel (Mark), Jill McCray (Scott), Kristi Wiedel (Austen), Kayla Weiner (Adam), Steven Pahl (Carol), Daniel Pahl (Jeryl), Kaitlyn Pahl and Miranda Akerberg; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Hunter, Parker, Tayler, Lexi, Olin, Ryli, Ty, Kinsley, Warren, Miles, Jaidyn, Lily, Sage, Ezra, Tanner, Remington, Meadow, Aaliyah, Jackson and Layla. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
