He is survived by: his children, Emily Mullens (Dan), Paul Jessie (Dana) and Marggy Ellis (David); his grandchildren, Emily Ruth Moorefield (Tony), Nick Mullens (Kendra), Jesse Mullens (Brianna), Kiley Mullens, Rosie Mullens, Raya Mullens, CJ Mullens, Kyle Jessie, Luke Jessie, Layla Jessie, Annika Jessie, Jack Ellis, Julia Ellis and Gretchen Ellis; his great grandchildren, Jaden Moorefield, Lorelai Moorefield, Emmett Mullens and Parker Mullens; his sister Paula Anderson; and his brothers-in-law, John Colvin and Jay Colvin (Bunny).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery (11301 Lake Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098).
