He was predeceased by: his parents, Elden Dale Bendle and Albertha Kross Bendle; and his wife Judith Ellen Caress. He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond (Ray), Eldon (Toomie), Joyce Reinecke, LaVonna Sublett (Bonnie), Barbara Wiegel, Kenneth, Robert, Elizabeth Hedrick (Betty), Charles (Chuck), Larry, John and Susanne Passen (Sue); his children, Scott Allen, Bradley Jay (Teresa) and Amy Lynn (Nick Petrovic); and his grandchildren, Anne Spencer, Erin Nicole, Bradley Jacob, Allen Cole and Abbigail Renee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
