Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lenore Lund of Rockford, Illinois, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 76, on August 30, 2025. As Lenore departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lenore. Though Lenore may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her children, Brian James Breuhaus (Patty Kim Breuhaus) and Bethany Lund Breuhaus (Danny Lee Smith); her husband John DeWaters; her grandchildren, Jack, Anne, Jane Breuhaus and Annika Smith; and her brother Jon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Second/First Church (318 N Church St, Rockford, IL 61101).
