She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lemke and Katherine Lemke; her husband Maynard H. Young; her daughter Kathryn Sloan (Tom); and her siblings, Helen Dunn and Robert Lemke.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Young (Alice), Richard Young (Rita), Nanette LaJeunesse (Michael Ziemke), Marilyn Stagno (Anthony), Valerie Michaels, Virginia Gronek (Mark) and Pamela Van Balen; and her grandchildren, Stephen, Melanie (Mark), Robert (Vicki), Kathy Anne (Randall), Eileen (Nick), Tom, Brian (Jennifer), Karen (Travis), Kevin (Jennifer), Kimberly (James), Elizabeth (Derek), Trefele (Ryan), Hogan, Mimi (John), Andrew (Maria), Joel (Skye), Stephanie, Adam, Simone (Michael), Jonathan (Kelly) and Mark Jr. (Kaitlyn).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elms Funeral Home (7600 W Grand Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707). The lying in state will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (7600 Lake St, River Forest, IL 60305). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
