It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Gilman of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gilman and Venia Cox Gilman; his wife Margaret Lucille Fletcher; and his sister Rowena Enke. He is survived by: his children, Paul Gilman of Elmhurst, IL and Peggy Wisdom (Bryon) of Jacksonville, IL; his grandchildren, Kayla Gilman and Alex Wisdom (Callie); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Hatchel and Julien Wisdom.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Senior Citizen Center at Community Park or Elara Care Hospice.
