It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Ellen Strege (Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Polster and Dorothy Polster. She is survived by: her husband Arthur "Art" Strege; her children, Janet Stiglich (Tony), Jean Herrmann, Joyce Gohr (Jeff) and Ronald Strege (Kim); her grandchildren, Jamie Klappa (Paul), Katie Brasure (Greg), Becky Lindenberg (Becky), Joe Herrmann (Tonya), Jacob Stiglich (Karissa), Laura Troutman (Marcus), Shelley Ervin (Brad), Jonathan Szymanski (Jason), Alexander Strege and Jeremy Herrmann (Melissa); and her siblings, Donald Polster, Joanne Swenson and Hertha Polster. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Ev. Lutheran Church (9986 WI-57, Baileys Harbor, WI 54202). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ Lutheran Church appreciated.
