He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Reif and Arlene Reif (Gebelein); his brothers, Dennis and Charles Reif (Chuck); and his stepdaughter Lori Lanke.
He is survived by: his wife India E. Carter; his daughters, Patty Woodkey (DJ), Sandy Rueth (Cory) and Cari Swensen (Jim); his stepson James Lanke; his grandchildren, Hunter Swensen (Brittney), Tanner Swensen, Paige (Mason White Eagle), Logan Rueth (Sydney Busche), Dawson Rueth (Sammy Stanton) and Joey Bauer; and his great grandchild Blakely Swensen.
