He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Lamb and Mary Lamb (Jones); his grandfather Joe (Joey); and his nephews, Marc Schweneker and John Spicer.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Myre of Seneca; his friend Ford; his grandson Joey; and his siblings, John, Thomas (Debi), George (Cindy), Carol Jackson (Jeff) and Mary Spicer (David). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the CDT American Legion Post 235 (571 Rutland St, Marseilles, IL 61341).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Easter Seals, a local food pantry, or any Democrat running for office in 2026.
