Catherine Jansma

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Jansma of Waupun, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Respalje Homan; her husband Charley Jansma; her siblings, Richard Homan, Edwin Homan (Flora), Harry Homan and Angeline Beek (Bernie); and her brothers-in-law, Louis Jansma (Gladys) and Garret Jansma (Marcia).
She is survived by: her children, Rosalie Riel (Jerald) of Waupun, Diane Riel (David) of Ripon, Sharon Oosterhouse (Richard) of Markesan, Thomas Jansma (Patty) of Alma, WI, Sue Reichhoff (Ronald) of Waupun and Fay Ploeger (Michael) of Edgerton; her brother Ken Homan (Elaine); her siblings-in-law, Pat, Carolyn Homan, Norm Jansma (Shirley) and Wilbert Jansma (Carol); and her close friend Kris Hart. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church (422 W Franklin St, Waupun, WI 53963). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at the Alto Cemetery (N3697 Co Rd EE, Waupun, WI 53963).
