With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy J. Kohlhagen of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Joosse and Elizabeth Nonhof Joosse; her sister Ethel Russo; and her sister-in-law Karen Joosse. She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Glen Kohlhagen (Glenda) of Milledgeville, GA and Scott Kohlhagen (Patty) of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Jason Kohlhagen (Lisa), Kacey O'Connor (Niall), Ryan Nischik (Shauna), Nicole Nischik and Kimberly Kohlhagen; and her brother Lee Joosse of Clarksville, TN.. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Church (612 Ontario Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be directed to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or The Lake House in Sheboygan for the compassion and care that was given to Dorothy.
