She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Gitzlaff and Jean Lydia Gitzlaff (Morgan); and her brother Dean Wesley Gitzlaff. She is survived by: her husband Richard Dennis; her daughters, Dena Lee Crook (Drew), Tammy Lee Ford and Jodie Lee Ryan (Jacques); her grandchildren, Colton Robert, Duncan Ward, Cameron Wesley, Danica Jean, Carter Thomas and Courtney Jean; and her brother Keith Allan Gitzlaff (Melody). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (5202 Cottage Grove Rd, Madison, WI 53716). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral and Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Highland Memory Gardens (3054 County Hwy N, Cottage Grove, WI 53527).
