It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janette Joan Kurth of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Krueger and Hattie Krueger (Plamann); her husband Daniel Kurth; and her siblings, Clarence, Lawrence, Earl, Will Krueger, Rose Dotter, LuEllen Teschner, Grace Crass and Margaret Krueger.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Derleth (George), Bonnie Meyer (Scott) and Mark Kurth (Mary); her grandchildren, Jeff Kurth (Mary Haegerl), Adam (Lindsay Buettner), Alie Meyer (Clint Brawner), Alicia Wegener (Tadd), Tony Derleth (Dawn) and Melissa Cerney (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Kaleb (Natalie Hagenow), Jordyn (Bryce Booyea), Jake Kaminski, Kate, Jack Derleth, Ben, Will, Luke and Kailey Cerney.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home (101 N 2nd St, Tomahawk, WI 54487). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prairie Rapids Cemetery.
