With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Nielsen of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025 at the age of 59. She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Barkdoll. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Barkdoll (Herrli); her children, Ronald Nielsen of Columbus, GA and Isabella Nielsen of Medford; her sisters, Mary Gebben (Nels) of Lake Hallie, Joan Miller (Hans) of Eau Claire and Amy Anderson of Merrill; and her grandchildren, Calab, Anastasia Akey, Elizabeth, Emma, Isaiah, Elliana and Ilias Niesen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Park West Club House (1378 Drake Dr, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
