With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Milton K. Staskal of New London, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Staskal and Dorthea Staskal (Stenner); and his brother Marvin Staskal of Fennimore, WI.. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Barbara Oechsle (Trudy) of Fennimore; his children, James (Gina) of New London, John (Pam) of Germantown, MD, Philip of New London and Lynn (Kurt) of Golden, CO; his brother Maynard (Marcella) of Boscobel, WI; and his sister-in-law Pauline of Fennimore, WI. He is also survived by sisters and their spouses; sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (110 E Hancock St, New London, WI 54961). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Congregational UCC in New London, the New London Public Library, New London Public Museum or Mission of Hope House Endowment Fund would be appreciated.
