He is survived by: his wife Karen Fischer of Kenosha; his children, Rachael Smith (Silas), Rebecca Fischer and Benjamin Fischer (Shelby); his stepdaughters, Amy Boege (Nick) and Stephanie Long (Earl); his sisters, Ellen Fischer and Hiede Mays (Steven); his siblings' children, Isaac Mays (Samantha) and Stephanie Schmidt (Rob); his great-niece Ellannor Schmidt; and his grandchildren, Isiah, Caleb, Hannah, Zachery, Grace, Adeline and Maxwell.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Life Lutheran Church (1520 Green Bay Rd, Kenosha, WI 53144). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
