He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schmidt and Mildred Schmidt; and his brothers, Ronnie and Roger Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Bette Jeske; his children, Tammy Schisel (Dan), John Schmidt (Vicky), Sarah Schmidt (Patrick), Jeffrey Schmidt, Gregory Schmidt (Jenny) and Jenny Troullier (Eric); and his brother Tom (Judy). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home (628 N Water St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
