He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Lau and Viola Lau (Dahlke); and his daughter Rachel. He is survived by: his wife Irmgard Zielke; his grandchildren, Shannon Sprehn (Dan), Jamie Thomas (Ethan), Abbie, Zack Niemeier, Jack, Cooper John, Hudson Lipski, Austin, Tayvis, Maya Lau, Liam and Edwin John Ferkenstad; his great grandchildren, Stella, Nova, Vivian Sprehn, Jackson, Grayson John and Logan Thomas; his sister Shirley; his niece Betsy; his brother Ted; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Long, Linda Jillson, Phyllis Krajewski and Guthrie Zielke.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1201 Main St, Onalaska, WI 54650). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran School in loving memory of Mr. Lau.
