She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Verstegen and Genrose Verstegen (Cavil); her siblings, Keith Verstegen and Sharon Verstegen; her stepfather Jack Staley; her parents-in-law, James and Ida Peeters; her brothers-in-law, James Evers and Gregory Peeters; and her niece Sheila Evers.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Peeters; her sons, Brian Peeters (Annie) and Brad Peeters (Jessica); her grandchildren, Oliver and Hannah Peeters; her sisters, Shawn Olm (Kenneth), Sharyl Evers and Rochelle Stoffel (Jim); and her sister-in-law Ruth Verstegen-Olsen (Cooper). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home (N3972 Columbia Ave, Freedom, WI 54130). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Irish Waters Golf Club (N 4265 Murphy Rd, Freedom, WI 54130).
