He was predeceased by: his uncle Robert Thompson; his nephew Michael; and his significant others, Sally Hess and Mary Peters. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Datta (Paul), David (Sally), Kenneth (Mary Jo), Nancy Kraft (Scott), Tom (Debbie) and Patrick (Cathy); his godson Vern Kempen; and his close friends, Jayson Nelson, Peter Sullivan and Terry Waters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home (1776 E Main St, Little Chute, WI 54140).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sierra Club or the Nature Conservancy.
