In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rodney leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Rodney may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Hammes and Kristine Hammes (Mliner); and his son David Hammes. He is survived by: his wife Linda Blevons; his daughter Jeanine Hammes (Nick) of Elkhart Lake; his siblings, Lawrence Hammes of Beloit, Richard Hammes (Barbara) of Hilton Head, SC and Kristine Hammes (Jim) of Plymouth; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Milz (Quentin) of Rhinelander, Beverly Blevons of Sheboygan and Jack Blevons (Janet) of North Ft. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (210 Lincoln St, Elkhart Lake, WI 53020). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
